Is Haunted Trails scary?
Not at all! Haunted Trails has been entertaining families for over 30 years and providing affordable family fun in the south suburbs! Our park offers a year-round “Halloween-themed” experience, but without all the “scares” or scary-looking characters.

Where are you located?
Haunted Trails is located in Joliet, IL. on Broadway St. (Route 53) just 1 block south of Theodore St, about 15 minutes south of the Stevenson (I-55) Expressway. For directions from your location, click here.

Is there an admission fee/What does it cost?
There is no admission fee. Haunted Trails offers “pay as you play” fun. You may purchase FUN Cards to use on all of our rides, attractions and games at your leisure. Be sure to check our specials page for great deals on food and fun! Visit our attractions page for a list of all of our amusements and ticket pricing.

Do I have to pay for parking?
No. Parking is free for all guests.

Are you open year-round?
Yes! The Monsters Tomb Game Room and Charmin Charley’s Restaurant remain open year-round for Birthday parties, group outings and family fun. Our Outdoor Attractions and Golfside Mini-Arcade are open April thru October (or sooner, weather permitting).

What are your hours?
Hours vary slightly by season. Visit our general info page for current park hours of operation.

How old do my kids have to be to visit?
We welcome kids of all ages, from 1 to 99 years old! Younger children will especially enjoy the Monster Hop, Bone Shaker Ride, Dragon Coaster and the Jr. Speedway Go-Karts in addition to the miniature golf and game rooms that have over 100 of the latest and greatest games.

How big do my kids need to be to go on the rides/attractions?
There is no age or height requirement to play the games in the Monster’s Tomb Game Room or Miniature Golf. Many of our other attractions do have height/safety requirements. Visit our attractions page for further information.

If I don’t use everything on my FUN Card, can I come back and use it?
Yes! FUN Cards for the games and attractions do not expire, unless they were purchased as part of a special promotion where certain time/date restrictions apply.

Can I bring in outside food/beverages?
Sorry, we do not allow outside food to be brought into the park, with the exception of a birthday cake for reserved birthday party packages.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Sorry, no personal checks accepted. ATMs are located on site for your convenience.

Are there any other locations?
Why yes! You can visit our Burbank Haunted Trails, located at 79th St. and Harlem Ave., which also offers year-round indoor/outdoor family fun. Our Enchanted Castle, located in Lombard, offers 60,000 sq. feet of all-indoor family entertainment!

Are you wheelchair accessible?
Our Monsters Tomb Game Room, Charmin Charley’s Restaurant and much of the park is handicapped accessible.

Does Haunted Trails donate to schools or charitable organizations?
Yes. We are proud to support local schools and children’s charities through fundraising events and prize donations. For information on our donation request policy, visit our donations page.

Can Redemption Tickets won at this location be redeemed at one of your other parks?
Yes, you can redeem tickets won at any of the three parks at the park of your choice.  In fact, saving and combining tickets you’ve won at our other parks is a great way to get better prizes.

What if it is raining on the day of my birthday party or group outing?
If the outside attractions are closed during your event, we will accommodate you with extra game play. We will reopen the outside attractions as soon as possible once the rain has stopped.

Can my child ride for free on the Go Karts as a passenger with a paying adult?
Yes. Two-seater cars are available for adults with young children who do not meet the minimum height requirement to drive. However, passengers must be at least 3 years of age and driver must have a valid driver’s license.
